1. Buy Followers
There is a ton of places that sell Instagram followers and likes. This is by far the quickest and easiest way to grow your Instagram account. You can get anywhere from a couple 100 followers all the way up to 1,000,000. You have to be careful when purchasing Instagram followers and likes. The cheapest place and by far my most highly recommended place for purchasing Instagram followers & likes is http://afollow.net Currently they offer 15,000 followers for only $15, which is a steal!
2. Use popular hashtags
A quick way to get tons of likes is by using popular hashtags in the comments when you post your photos. You will notice that when you first post these hashtags (limit of 30 tags) you will immediately get a ton of likes and then they will die down. All you have to do is delete your previous comment and then post the hashtags again. You can repeat this process as many times as you want. I would highly recommend making a list on your phone of hashtags so you can just copy/paste every time you want a ton of likes. You can only have so many hashtags on your photo at a time so be sure to delete the olds one when you go to refresh them. Otherwise, it will not work. Below is a huge list of the most popular hashtags.
1. #love 67,752,150 Photos

3. Connect your account to Facebook
A way to gain some followers is by connecting your Instagram account to your Facebook account. When you connect your two accounts to each other, your Facebook friends will notice it and start following you on Instagram as well. Based on the data from my own account 3% of your Facebook friends will start following you on Instagram. If you happen to post a status update on Facebook asking people to follow you on Instagram, that number can increase to just under 5%. You can also click one button and follow ALL of your Facebook friends who have Instagram connected to their account. If you follow them, then they are more likely to follow you.
4. Use popular filters
Similar to using popular tags, users prefer photos with certain filters over others. Here are the 10 most popular filters you can use:
5. Comment pictures instead of just liking
If you want your images to get more likes or comments and gain more followers, you need to start engaging with other users. In order to do this, the first thing you need to understand is people prefer liking over commenting. Every second there are 575 new likes, versus 81 comments. So, if you take the time to comment on someone else’s profile, they are more likely to come back and not just comment on your photo, but they are 401% more likely to follow you than if you just liked their photo. 6. Liking other people’s photos = more followers and likes
For every 100 likes I did on random photos of other users, it generated around 21 likes on my photos and about 7 more followers. I did not have to follow people back for this to work the way it did.
By tracking my profile data on Statigr.am I have found that by liking 100s of photos from individuals that were not my followers, not only did it cause my follower count to increase, but it also caused people from outside my friend network to like my photos.
Due to the fact I was liking 100’s of photos a day from random accounts that I didn’t follow, 43.26% of all of my likes came from people who weren’t a follower. And 31% of all comments on my photos came from people who also weren’t one of my followers. (Source: Quicksprout)
As you can see, simply liking other people’s photos can dramatically increase all aspects of your account.
7. Post a certain times of the day
From analyzing 46 users and over 1000 photos on Statigr.am, Monday at 5pm PST is the best time to post a photo. That is when you are most likely to get the most amounts of comments and likes on your photos.
The second most popular time to post a photo is either on Wednesday or Thursday at 3pm PST.
Also, a photo is the most active during the first 3 hours. 46.15% of all comments happen within the first hour, 69.23% of all comments on a photo happen within the first 3 hours. So if you can’t get traction within the first 3 hours of posting a photo, it is probably not going to gain traction down the road. (Source: Quicksprout)
Post during these specific times and it will pay off greatly.
8. Be Personal
By analyzing the likes of over 1000 photos, images that are about lifestyle (fancy cars, homes, living a luxurious life) or that are personal tend to get the most engagement. Photos that don’t contain either of those two elements tend to get 11.4% less likes. Be sure to be personal on your Instagram (Not to Personal) and it will pay off big time in the long run.
9. Combine your images
Images like the one above are multiple images, combined into one. You can create them through apps like Diptic. My friend took the image above and quickly got 75 likes and 5 comments. Images like those tend to get 19.41% more likes and 22.4% more comments than images that aren’t composed by multiple shots.
If you want to get the most traction with your photos, take the extra time to take multiple shots, and then combine them into 1 image. (Source: Quicksprout)
10. Post on Twitter
Another effective way to get more followers is to implement the use of the “Share on Twitter” feature on Instagram. By sharing your images on Twitter (with hashtags) your Twitter followers will be able to see your images and subsequently follow you.
In conclusion, if you want to grow your followers and likes super fast then check out http://afollow.net and you can buy Instagram followers and likes. If you do not want to dish out $15 for 15,000 followers and in return spend hours a day getting followers, then you should focus on the following:
- Taking multiple lifestyle and personal images
- Combine those images with Diptic
- Use no filters on the image
- Use the tag #love
- And post it at 5pm PST on Monday
